Organization Overview…
The Manitoba-Saskatchewan Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is part of the World-Wide Seventh-day Adventist Church based in Silver Springs, Maryland USA.
Our Conference is comprised of committed Seventh-day Adventist members who look forward to the second coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ – meeting weekly on the Sabbath in thirty-three churches in both rural and urban settings.
Our members are located in the provinces of Manitoba and Saskatchewan, plus we serve the Territory of Nunavut.
In our Conference there are four senior care centres, and three church schools with programs varying from Kindergarten through Grade 10.
We operate a summer youth camp program based at our Camp Whitesand – located at Theodore, Saskatchewan and we also conduct an annual 9-day Camp Meeting for our members and guests at the same location.
The Global Church or General Conference, is comprised of several Divisions, and we are part of the North American Division, also based on Silver Springs, Maryland. Church Divisions are further divided into Unions, and we are part of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada which oversees 6 conferences and 1 mission here in Canada.
