Camp Whitesand Mid-Week Report

August 10, 2010

The 2010 Manitoba-Saskatchewan Camp Meeting has proven to be a blessing to all those who have been able to come to Camp Whitesand.  Attendance was strong on the weekend and continues with over 250 people remaining on the campus during the week.  Seminars in the main auditorium are averaging 110 persons and many youth are staying here all week.  The evening meetings have been particularly good, with Mike and Gayle Tucker, attended by some 175 persons each night.  This year with their help we have been providing an intentional worship experience which has been very well received.  The Tuckers shared their ideas and experience with us on Wednesday at 6:30pm in a special Worship Workshop – Audio CD’s will be available.

The evening meeting messages by Pastor Mike Tucker have been especially good – as he takes us through the first few books of Revelation and Jesus’ messages to the seven churches.  Pastor Tucker carefully weaves in a special message to us as members of the Adventist Church that we all need to hear!

With just over 10 campsites not yet booked, we encourage members to consider coming early and staying the weekend to share in this time of renewal and fellowship.
